Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Your journey begins as you touch down at Entebbe International Airport, your gateway to this remarkable experience. Our friendly team will be there to welcome you and ensure a smooth transfer to your comfortable accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala. Take this time to rest and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime.
Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After a delicious breakfast, we’ll whisk you away to Entebbe Airport for a domestic flight to Kihihi Airstrip, nestled close to the enchanting Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. As you arrive at the airstrip, our expert driver-guide will be waiting to take you to your lodge or camp amidst the lush forest. Bwindi is home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas, and you’ll feel the anticipation building for the day ahead.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking
The day you’ve been waiting for has arrived. Rise early and head to the park headquarters, where a comprehensive briefing on gorilla tracking awaits. You’ll be assigned to a gorilla group, considering your fitness level and permit availability. As you venture into the dense forest, prepare for an unforgettable trek that may last several hours. Once you locate your gorilla group, you’ll have a precious hour to observe and photograph these magnificent creatures. After an awe-inspiring encounter, you’ll trek back to the park headquarters, where you’ll receive a well-deserved certificate to commemorate your adventure. Spend the evening relishing the memories and soaking in the beauty of Bwindi.
Day 4: Fly to Entebbe and Departure
Your final day begins with a hearty breakfast, followed by a check-out from your accommodation. We’ll transfer you to the local airstrip for your domestic flight back to Entebbe. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have time for some last-minute souvenir shopping or a brief city tour in Entebbe. Later, we’ll ensure you reach Entebbe International Airport in time for your onward flight or departure.
