Safari Overview
This amazing safari is made affordable through cheaper camping options that will take you to an unparalleled concentration of wildlife including the Serengeti National Park, the most famous park in Tanzania. Here you can witness the famed great wildebeest migration from July to October. Visit Tarangire National Park, known for the Tarangire River which flows all year round; and Ngorongoro Crater, which is home to abundant wildlife such as lions and cheetahs. Indeed, the best 5 days of wildlife!

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and afterwards, proceed to Tarangire National Park.
This is one of the largest national parks in Tanzania located in the Manyara region. This place is characterized by the large herds of elephants, tree climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees, also called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. This park is especially known for the Tarangire River which flows all year round and is the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons.

Day 2-3 Serengeti National Park - central
After breakfast, we’ll journey to Serengeti National Park in Central Seronera, renowned for its abundant resident wildlife, including the iconic “Big Five” – lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes. Central Serengeti boasts Africa’s largest lion population, with over 3,000 individuals, while leopards thrive throughout the park, numbering around 1,000. This UNESCO World Heritage Site witnesses an awe-inspiring migration of 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles, alongside wildebeests, creating an unforgettable soundscape of 6 million hooves pounding the open Serengeti plains, a quintessential African wildlife experience.

Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we will leave for an early morning drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive. This is another UNESCO World Heritage Site located west of Arusha in the crater highlands of Tanzania. This area is named after Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera. The stunning landscape of Ngorongoro with its vast expanses of highland plains and concentration of wildlife of some 25,000 animals makes this place one of the most exotic natural wonders on earth.

Day 5 Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara via a Maasai village. The park derives its name from the Maasai word Manyara, which is the name for the plant Euphorbia tirucalli, a plant the Maasai people use to grow livestock stockades. Manyara produces a stock proof hedge, which is very durable among other similar kinds. A specimen of Euphorbia tirucalli can be found at the entrance of the gate of the Great Rift Valley belonging to the faultline in the earth’s crust which stretches 8,000 kilometers (4,971 miles) from Turkey to the mouth of the Zambezi River in Mozambique. The fault is so massive that when astronauts landed on the moon the Rift Valley was clearly visible to them. In the afternoon, you will be taken to the airport.
