DAY 1: ARRIVAL

Arrive Arusha/ Kilimanjaro International airport Tanzania, Meet our driver and Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

In the morning drive to Arusha National Park, Birding and Big game viewing rest of the day. Late afternoon return to Arusha at your hotel for Dinner and over night.

DAY 3: ARUSHA TO SERENGETI

Depart your hotel, start the official day of the safari, drive westwards towards Lake Victoria, and the Serengeti. We will take a picnic Lunch out of Arusha, being a long day of driving, we will have limited birding stops on the way as our target will be to get to the Serengeti on time. Once on the Serengeti, we will commence our Birding and Big game viewing on the way to our accommodation. Dinner and over night at lodge.

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

All the Birding and Big game viewing on the Serengeti, trying to catch up with the Serengeti Big Cats and the Serengeti Endemics. Dinner and over night at lodge.

DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

This morning we will drive Westwards of the Serengeti to Lake Victoria crossing the Serengeti`s Western Corridor to Lake Victoria. Game viewing, Photography, and birding watching. Dinner and over night at lodge.

DAY 6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO LAKE VICTORIA

In the morning scheduled bird walks on the grounds and surroundings. Boat Ride on Lake Victoria in the late evening you will back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: LAKE VICTORIA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After this exciting Birding adventure on Africa`s Largest inland Sea, we will take ourselves again through the Western Serengeti into the South Eastern Plains of the Serengeti to the Ndutu region. All-day Birding and Big game viewing. Dinner and over night at lodge.

DAY 8: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

All Day Birding and Big game viewing in the Ndutu area. Dinner and over night at lodge.

DAY 9: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO CRATER

After Breakfast, Take a picnic lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Once on the Crater, Floor birding & Big game viewing the rest of the day. Here is our Chance to see the endangered Black Rhino. After the excitement on the Crater Floor we ascend the Crater walls and drive to Karatu Village for dinner and overnight.

DAY 10: NGORONGORO CRATER

After a relaxing breakfast, we will embark on an Optional Bird walk (short hike) to the Ngorongoro Highlands, birding for high altitude birds and Nature close-ups on the slopes. For those with the option of an exotic birding style, birds coming in and out. After Lunch, drive to Tarangire National Park. dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 11: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Visiting the Baobab Led Country of Tarangire National Park, at this time of the year Elephants use the Baobab tree for both shed and “snack”. The day will be birding & Big game viewing. Breakfast, Lunches, and Dinners at the Lodge.

DAY 12: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO ARUSHA

This morning we will depart Tarangire National Park for the Lark Plains North of Arusha, Birding for the endemic and special Larks and related dry country birds in the area. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 13: ARUSHA

After breakfast Bird walks on the Lodge grounds, to catch up with the Mt Meru specials and anything that may be at its last western edge towards the East Coast. We start the Second Leg of the tour driving East Words into the Dry Maasai Steppes that is full of a bunch of special dry country birds, after several birding stops, we will check-in at the hotel near Same Village for dinner and overnight

DAY 14: SAME VILLAGE TO MKOMAZI NATIONAL PARK

Pre-breakfast Birding around the South Pare Mountains dry country bushes and then have the rest of the day in Mkomazi National Park. Lunches locally, Just Birding and Bird Photography, a few Mammals may be seen. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 15: MKOMAZI NATIONAL PARK TO USAMBARA MOUNTAINS

Morning driving to high elevation of the South Pare Mountains for the South Pare White-eye endemic and mid-afternoon drive to the West Usambara Mountains. Just Birding the endemics and Bird Photography. Dinner and overnight at hotel

DAY 16: USAMBARA MOUNTAINS.

This morning we will check out of the West Usambaras to the East Usambaras as we get closer to the East Coast. Birding stops on the way and arriving in time for local birding around the East Usambara Lower forest before getting high into the Amani Nature reserve. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 18: AMANI NATURE FOREST

Big Day Hunting for the Amani Nature Forest – East Usambara Specials and coastal endemics. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
